Take the Mindful Movement Teacher Training at your own pace!

MMTT was originally designed as a live training, but after receiving several requests for a self-paced option, I am now officially offering a Supported On-Demand Mindful Movement Teacher Training.

This is the same 60-hour Mindful Movement Teacher Training, covering all the topics included in the live program, but you can start and finish this self-guided version at any time.

It’s structured as a supported on-demand training, meaning that there is a mentorship component, in addition to the video training materials. You will work through the course at your own pace, and also have two 60-minute one-on-one Zoom sessions with Addie, where you can ask questions and get individual guidance. I will also be available to support you via email as you progress through the course.

If you are interested, you can also ask to be matched with members of the current live MMTT cohort for peer-organized practice teaching sessions.

For more details about what you’ll be studying, check the main MMTT page. The content is the same in the Live MMTT and the Supported On-Demand MMTT – this is simply a different structure for delivering that training content to you.

Why choose this version of the MMTT program?

  • You live in a timezone that is not compatible with our meetings, or the live class schedule just doesn’t work well for you
  • You want to begin the training, but we’re already underway with our current cohort or not restarting the program soon enough for your purposes
  • You’d like to take more time to move through the material
  • You prefer to watch the videos on your own, rather than being on Zoom with a group
  • You’re interested in the one-on-one mentorship support that’s built in to this version of the training

I have successfully piloted this on-demand MMTT program with a few students (by request) over the last two years. Their feedback has helped refine the concept, and now it’s ready for you!

What is included in the Supported On-Demand MMTT program?

  • Access to the MMTT Portal, which is a hub on my website containing all of your training resources
  • Videos of the 10 training modules, which were recorded with the most recent live MMTT group. (These are approximately 3.5 hours each.)
  • PDF slides with lecture notes for each of the 10-modules
  • Dozens of movement tutorial videos of Yoga poses, Somatic movements, and Qigong forms, with detailed instructions for teaching
  • More than 30 practice videos of full classes and guided meditations, to support your own practice and your understanding of how to structure Mindful Movement sessions
  • Recommended readings for each module, as well as suggested practices to further illuminate the topics.
  • A 30-minute “kick-off” call shortly after you begin so we can meet and ensure your start is a smooth one!
  • Two 60-minute mentorship meetings with Addie to ask your questions one-on-one as you progress through the training

Upon completion, this training is eligible for 60 CEU hours for Yoga Alliance members.

Tuition and Registration Process

The tuition for the on-demand training is the same as the “early bird” rate for the live training – $980 (USD). This can be paid in full when you register, or you can opt for a payment plan.

The standard payment plan is a deposit of $380 (when you register), then 3 monthly installments of $200. And, longer payment plans are always available by request.

Need-based partial scholarships are evaluated on a case-by-case basis for sincere students who would not be able to participate without assistance. In your application, you can use the final question to briefly describe your situation and request information about scholarship possibilities.

Cancellation Policy – We always hope that none of us will need to use this information, but please read the cancellation policy just in case.

Apply, register, and get started!

The first step to enrolling is to fill out an application. Why is there an application for this on-demand training?

Firstly, I can only support so many trainees at once, so I want to make sure I can be available to you for your one-on-one sessions and questions along the way. Also, the application helps us both ensure that this program is a good fit before you invest and commit your time to it.

After you apply, you will hear from me within a few days with any follow up questions, as well as registration/payment options.

Once you are officially registered, you will be promptly set up with directions for getting started, scheduling our initial meet-and-greet (“kick-off”) call, and logging in to the MMTT Portal. This process is not automated and instant, since this program emphasizes our mentorship connection (and I will be communicating with you personally). But, no worries – you will be up and running within a few days!

You will have ongoing access to all of the training videos, so you can take as long as needed to complete the training. I hope you’ll return to these resources again and again as your teaching continues to develop.

If you have any questions about the program, you can either email Addie or schedule a 15-minute call with her on Zoom.
